Regilent Recruitment Sales Manila Group does not only know how to recruit people, they also know how to have fun and enjoy the summer. This summer 2008, we went to Quezon to spend summer vacation. It was a four-hour drive from the head office to the beach of Dinahican in Infanta. 

The group stayed at the rest house of the Chan family. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a festive lunch of grilled fresh large tuna fish, squids, shrimps, sinigang, green mangoes, banana and liputi (native fruit of Infanta). In the afternoon we went to the beach to swim and to participate in the games prepared by the WIF (Work is Fun) Committee. We were divided into two groups and competed with each other on a series of relays.

Prizes were given to the participants. Afterwards, the group headed to the rest house for the videoke challenge. The singing fest started at four in the afternoon and ended at two in the morning (whew!). Of course, there’s a sumptuous seafood dinner in between and a case of beer.

Sunday morning, the group subdivided into smaller clusters, where some went to the beach for another round of swim, others stayed at the dining table, eating breakfast till they had their full, while the others continued their enjoyment with the videoke machine.

The group left the Infanta after lunchtime, with suman (native rice derivative) and flower cookies to take home to Manila. It was short but a fun weekend getaway.
